We are in search of an intelligent, professional and experienced Research and Development Personnel to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria.

 

   Job Description

As a Research and Development Personnel, you will be responsible for conducting market research and execute the developmental process of creating new and improved products and services for the company. You will also be needed to partake in the planning and implementation of strategic and updated research program and systems that will ensure that our new products and services are viable, profitable and satisfactory to the customers and company respectively.

 

   Duties and Responsibilities

* Conduct market research, design and create new products.

* Document all phases and processes of research and product development.

* Develop concepts, products and solutions via teamwork with other departments.

* Evaluate and test similar products for their market viability, functionality and niche.

* Establish project goals and priorities by collaborating with Marketing and Operations.

* Execute and manage all product development processes and resolve product issues.

* Redesign existing products to enhance attractiveness, customer satisfaction and profitability.

* Understand customer needs and expectations in creating new and redesigning existing products.

* Determine and adopt new technologies and softwares used in the industry to increase efficiency and product value.

 

   Minimum Job Requirements

* BSc degree Social Research, Business Administration, Project Management or related field required.

*  At least 2 years of industry or managerial experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

 

   Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

* Knowledge and experience in project management.

* Knowledge of softwares and technologies used in the travel industry.

* Skills to organise resources, establishing priorities, and work efficiently.

* Ability to multitask and achieve research and development goals on-time.

* Ability to listen, present, and communicate proficiently in English language.

*  Ability to work effectively in an ethnically diverse and international environment.

* Knowledge and ability in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

* Ability to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
