GlobeKonect Marketing & Distribution is a multi diversified company that deals in the marketing and global distribution of various consumer products for different manufacturers and companies throughout the world. We are looking for a zealous Marketing Assistant to support the Marketing department of our company in its primary and administrative duties in Lagos, Nigeria.

 

   Job Description

As a Marketing Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the marketing managers to develop, analyse and execute sales strategies and marketing campaigns successfully. You will be required to run general administrative tasks for the marketing department and assist in achieving all the set objectives and ultimate goals.

 

   Duties and Responsibilities

* Prepare and deliver promotional presentations.

* Support marketing executives in organising various projects.

* Communicate directly with clients and encourage trusting relationships

* Conduct market research and analyse consumer rating reports/ questionnaires.

* Compose and post online content on the company’s website and social media accounts.

* Update spreadsheets, databases and inventories with statistical, financial and non-financial information.

* Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.).

* Write marketing literature (brochures, press releases etc) to augment the company’s presence in the market.

* Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities.

* Assist in the organising of promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns and attend them to facilitate their success.

 

   Minimum Job Requirements

* Cover letter.

* CV/Resume.

* High School diploma; BSc in Marketing, Business or relevant field is a strong advantage.

* At least 2 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for work experience on a year for year basis.

 

   Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

* Exquisite communication and people skills.

* Proven experience as a marketing assistant.

* Well-organised with a customer-oriented approach.

* Ability to communicate fluently in English language.

* Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines.

* Good knowledge of market research techniques and databases.

* Good understanding of office management and marketing principles.

* Excellent knowledge of MS Office, marketing computer software and online applications (CRM tools, Online analytics, Google Adwords etc.).
